Yes. If your placenta cannot be accepted because of a medical, hospital, or safety reason outside your control, your $135 second payment will be refunded.

What if I change my mind?
The $99 reservation fee is not refundable. Other refunds depend on why the service cannot be completed and the terms in your Placenta Encapsulation Agreement.
What if my placenta was not stored correctly?
You must follow the storage instructions we give you. If the placenta cannot be used because the instructions were not followed, a refund may not apply.
What if Babies First Glance cannot provide the service?
If Babies First Glance cannot provide the service for a reason within our control, payments made for the service will be refunded.
Do doula clients get a discount?
Yes. Babies First Glance doula clients pay $299 total. They pay $99 today, $101 by 36 weeks, and $99 at pickup.
Do I need to tell my hospital?
Yes. Tell your nurse, doctor, or midwife that you want to keep your placenta. Hospital rules may be different.
How many capsules will I get?
Every placenta is different. The number of capsules depends on the size of your placenta.
Can every placenta be used?
No. Sometimes a placenta cannot be safely processed. Storage, infection, medical testing, hospital handling, or other safety concerns may stop us from accepting it.
A placenta may not be accepted if it was not stored safely, was treated with certain chemicals, has a known or suspected infection, is needed for medical testing, or does not meet our safety rules.

Doula client payment schedule: $99 reservation fee, $101 due by 36 weeks, and $99 due at placenta pickup. The $99 reservation fee is non-refundable and is applied toward the total. If the placenta cannot be accepted for encapsulation because of an approved medical, hospital, or safety reason outside the client's control, the second payment will be refunded. Refunds may not apply when the service cannot be completed because the client changes their mind, does not provide the placenta, does not follow required storage or handling instructions, or otherwise does not meet the service requirements. If Babies First Glance cannot provide the service for a reason within its control, payments made for the service will be refunded. Placenta encapsulation is a personal choice and is not medical treatment. Babies First Glance does not promise that placenta capsules will increase milk supply, increase energy, balance hormones, increase iron, prevent postpartum depression, or treat or prevent any health condition. Placenta acceptance depends on safe storage, handling, hospital procedures, and processing requirements. Always speak with your healthcare provider about your health or your baby's health.
